Project Overview

The Challenge.

Create three cohesive card background graphics for PlayStation's Beta Program that align with PlayStation's established brand identity while maintaining visual consistency across all designs.

What is Jongro Korean BBQ?

Jongro Korean BBQ is a sit-down restaurant located in Manhattan serving traditional Korean Cuisine. Korean BBQ is a self-cook food service that includes table side ordering and side dishes.

The Challenge

After ordering food, it is very difficult to order any other dishes which impedes customer experience. Table side ordering kiosks are becoming much more prevalent but are not widely used.

The Solution

This kiosk aims to be easy to use, provide functional tools and make continuing order more streamlined overall.

Design Strategy

Design Philosophy

When designing the kiosk, I wanted it to feel consistent with the branding already in place for the business. Using similar color palette and design elements found amongst their website, social medias and menus whilst also keeping it modern and usable.

Design Considerations

Since this is replacing physical menus, I want to make sure that important information is not lost like multilingual item names, icons for allergies and differences in menus at time of day.

Brand Consistency:

Color palette matches existing Jongro branding

  • Typography aligned with restaurant aesthetic

  • Modern interpretation of traditional elements

  • Clean, contemporary interface
